The Town of Denton Fire Department is a small fire department located in the southern part of Davidson County, NC. The Department's combination of 7 part-time employees and 23 volunteers provide fire protection to the 1 square mile town of Denton. The Department also serves a rural district outside the city limits. We currently hold a DOI Class 5/9 rating.

The Denton Fire Department is a community organization at heart, because we are made up of citizens from the community. We participate in Street Festival, Tour De Kale, Harrison Park 5K Run, Street Treat, and other community activities throughout the year.
