Antiques Festival
Join us for an antique lover’s paradise at Harrison Park and beyond, June 30th - July 4th! Vendors fill the Park and other areas close to downtown with treasures that seekers are looking for. All vendors are in walking distance of downtown. Plan to spend some time in Denton this Independence Day.

Christmas Parade and Celebration
The Denton Christmas Parade and Celebration is held the first Saturday in December, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The festivities include the Holiday Market, caroling in the park, carriage rides, & photos with Santa! The parade starts at noon. Call 336-859-4231 for more information.
Christmas Train
Visit the Denton Farm Park for a Christmas delight as they light up the train for the holidays! Take a 20-minute ride on the authentic steam train. Then stop off at the Gingerbread House for a fresh cookie and some hot cocoa. Join others at the church for some Christmas carols, or view the arts & crafts exhibits. Ride the Handy Dandy Railroad and see the lights and Nativity movie along the way. Visit the church and sing carols. Explore the service station, Gingerbread House, General Store, Doll Museum and all the Arts & Crafts exhibits. Take the tram down to visit the Reid Plantation or ride the horse drawn wagon ride. Make sure to stop by Santa’s cabin for a visit. Food available and more!
Denton Farm Park
The privately-owned Denton Farm Park is home to some of the most exciting events in the Southeast. The park is, perhaps, best known for hosting the annual Southeast Old Threshers' Reunion. Denton Museum
The Denton Museum is the repository for historical Denton artifacts. Thanks to Barbara Hogan's tireless labor of love, the museum has grown to include hundreds of items representing Denton's past. Click the above link for more information and photos.
Denton Street Festival

Litter Sweep
Biannually, NCDOT hosts a week long cleanup drive. Spring Litter Sweep is in April and Fall Litter Sweep is in September.

Outdoor Market at Harrison Park (Farmers Market / Holiday Markets)
Denton's Farmers Market is the place to come for locally-grown produce, baked goods, and hand-made arts & crafts. The market is held on select dates, and includes the special Holiday Markets.
Pink Cares of the Piedmont 5K Walk/Run
This annual walk/run is Saturday, May 20th beginning at 9:00am. You can run with your dogs, leash is required. Sponsored by Hedrick's Tree Service. All proceeds go to the Pink Cares of the Piedmont.
Southeast Old Threshers Reunion
Come out and experience the Southeast Old Threshers' Reunion—the largest display of steam, gas, and antique farm equipment in the Southeast. This five-day event is held annually on the week of July 4th. This event is located at the privately-owned and historical Denton Farm Park. Click the above link for more information.
Veteran's Day Dinner
The Veteran's Day Dinner is an annual event every November to thank our men and women who have served our country. Larry Furr Presents, Southern Theatre and Event Center will be the host for lunch on November 11, 2022 from 12:00pm - 3:00pm. All Veterans meals are free and spouse's meal is $11.00.
